when installing Russia localized programmes on w2k UK-localised computer all
the information which pops up during installation shows as ?????
I guess I need to set the main code page (or how it is colled correctly) to
Cyrillics - how do I do this.
Also would you reming the name of the command to run at DOS prompt to see
the current code page?

aka System Locale.
Control Panel/Regional Options/Language for non Unicode applications.
I think it was called differently under W2K. Don't remember how. Maybe

He works for MS now, spends less time here, but he pops-up once in a while
(I guess mostly when questions stay without answers for too long :-)
And he has a very interesting blog at blogs.msdn.com/michkap/
